Student Pick-up & Drop-off Instructions
Reporting an all-day absence or late arrival, or requesting early dismissal Option #1 – Please call the Attendance Line (248) 726-4510 to report an all-day absence, late arrival, or early dismissal. This is a 24-hour voicemail. Please report the following:
Student’s first and last name (including the spelling)
Parent or Guardian’s first and last name
Day and date of late arrival or early dismissal
Reason for late arrival or early dismissal
Early dismissals must be requested with as much advance notice as possible
Option #2 – Use ParentVUE to report an all-day absence. Pleasenote the reason for the absence in the COMMENT section
Each all-day absence requires a separate ParentVUE entry.
Late arrivals and early dismissalscannot be reported on ParentVUE. Please call the Attendance Line at 248-726-4510 to report a late arrival or request early dismissal, giving as much notice as possible.

Hart Orchestra
Hart Orchestras will have our first concert at 7 pm on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27th at Stoney Creek High School! -6th grade students should arrive between 5:30 and 5:40 pm and will rehearse on-stage at 5:45 pm. 6th graders should wear their Hart Orchestra T-shirt (arriving next week!), black pants, and shoes (not crocs or sandals) -7th and 8th grade students should arrive between 5:45 and 6:00 pm and will rehearse on-stage at 6:005 pm. 7th graders should wear their all-black concert attire (black bottoms, black tops, black socks, black dress shoes). -Doors will open for parents at 6:30 pm. The concert should be between 75 and 90 minutes in length. We look forward to showing you what we have learned so far this year!

Boys Basketball Try-outs
Tryouts for the 7th & 8th grade boys Basketball teams are just around the corner! 7th grade tryouts will take place from 2:45 to 4:45 Monday, October 30th, Wednesday, November 1st, and Thursday, November 2nd. 8th grade tryouts will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 Monday, October 30th, Tuesday, October 31st (date changed) and Wednesday, November 1st. *Please note: All athletes must have a current health physical uploaded to Final Forms, which can be found on the RCS website under the Athletics tab, prior to the first day of tryouts. Athletes should bring a bottle of water, clearly labeled with their name, and appropriate athletic attire to each day of tryouts.
Health Physicals for middle school athletes can now be uploaded online via Final Forms! Parents/guardians of Hart Middle School athletes will now be required to create a Final Forms account, where they can register for sports and upload Health Physicals.
