Student Pick-up & Drop-off Instructions
Reporting an all-day absence or late arrival, or requesting early dismissal Option #1 – Please call the Attendance Line (248) 726-4510 to report an all-day absence, late arrival, or early dismissal. This is a 24-hour voicemail. Please report the following:
Student’s first and last name (including the spelling)
Parent or Guardian’s first and last name
Day and date of late arrival or early dismissal
Reason for late arrival or early dismissal
Early dismissals must be requested with as much advance notice as possible
Option #2 – Use ParentVUE to report an all-day absence. Pleasenote the reason for the absence in the COMMENT section
Each all-day absence requires a separate ParentVUE entry.
Late arrivals and early dismissalscannot be reported on ParentVUE. Please call the Attendance Line at 248-726-4510 to report a late arrival or request early dismissal, giving as much notice as possible.
Bagel Sales
Soaring Students will sell bagels and cream cheese before school starts next Tuesday, October 17th. Bagels are $2 each, and cream cheese packets are $1 each. All money raised supports Soaring Students community service projects.
Project Lit
Attention readers! Join our Project Lit community for our next meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 18th, from 2:30-3:30 P.M. in the LGI classroom across from the media center to enjoy snacks and discussion about our shared novel. Our book club is currently reading The Shape of Thunder by Jasmine Warga. Copies are still available. Everyone is welcome! No sign-up is needed. Tryouts for the 7th & 8th grade boys Basketball teams are just around the corner! 7th grade tryouts will take place from 2:45 to 4:45 Monday, October 30th, Wednesday, November 1st, and Thursday, November 2nd. 8th grade tryouts will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 Monday, October 30th, Tuesday, October 31st (date changed) and Wednesday, November 1st.
Final Forms - Athlete Registration
Health Physicals for middle school athletes can now be uploaded online via Final Forms! Parents/guardians of Hart Middle School athletes will now be required to create a Final Forms account, where they can register for sports and upload Health Physicals. Reflections is a National PTA program designed to encourage students to create original work of art inspired by a specific theme. Reflection entries will be accepted until Monday, November 13, 2023.
