End of Year Information
As we approach the end of the 2025-2026 school year, you may find the information below helpful as we wrap up one year and prepare for the next.

Textbooks & Library Books Textbooks will be collected next week. Library books should have been turned in by May 27. Fines will be assessed for any textbooks or library books that are not returned or are damaged.
Backpacks Other than Chromebooks or musical instruments, students should not bring any bags or backpacks to school June 8, 9, and 10.
Lockers We are cleaning out lockers next week during Hart Start. It is helpful to send a bag (or two) with your child so they can take home things they would like to keep. Anything remaining in lockers after the clean-out must be taken home or discarded by end of day, Friday June 5. Students will not have access to their lockers during the last week of school.

Lost & Found The contents of our Lost & Found are displayed on tables outside the main office. If your child is missing something, please encourage them to check the tables. Anything left after dismissal on June 10 will be donated to a local charity.
Medication Pick-up Parents/caregivers must pick up all medication and medical supplies from the Counseling Office by 3:30 pm June 12. We are unable to send medication home with students. Medication Pick-up and Medical Information for 2026-2027
If your child has a Medical Action Plan (MAP) for the current school year, and we have medication and/or supplies at Hart for your child, please note that it must be picked up no later than June 12 at 3:30pm. Anything left after that date will be discarded. We are not able to send medication home with students.
HEALTH INFORMATION FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
Medical supplies needed for the 2026-2027 school year, such as prescription or over-the-counter medication, Epi-pens, inhalers, etc., require a Medical Action Plan (MAP), which must be updated every school year, and must have a physician signature. Updated forms for next school year will be posted on the RCS website under Families/Community/Health and Wellness soon.
If your child plans to participate in any middle school athletics next school year, please click HERE to access the 2026-2027 Athletic Physical form. Physicals must be dated April 15, 2026, or later, and must have a physician signature.
Health physicals cannot be turned in to school offices. Please upload physicals, signed by a physician, to FINAL FORMS.
All incoming 7th graders are required by the State of Michigan to be up to date on their immunizations or have a waiver on file at the school. Please click HERE for requirements or call the Oakland County Health Department or your health care provider for more information.
Save the Dates for Back-to-School Events for the 2026-2027 School Year
Dear Hart Community, Hart Middle School is pleased to announce the August 2026 dates for visiting the school, having school pictures taken, and 6th Grade WEB Orientation! Parents/caregivers will be able to complete their child's registration online, and must do so at the start of each school year. In place of traditional Registration days, we will have opportunities for students and parents to visit the school, stock lockers, and have school pictures taken. This simple one-time step allows for rewards to be earned every time you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger Plus Card.
